The only time I was "about" to cry was when I was constantly making and deleting pvp chars at midnite...And this is when I was sleepy: I delete my ranger wit 3 elite armors and 2 torm weapons....
Back to grinding again...
fool that will tach u not to do stupied thing when u mostly board
and no i never cryed over gw i not really got mad at ppl but when ppl shout at me ill shout back
Nope. A lot of people have made me laugh, but I don't cry over my own rage and general emotions.
Strangely I easily get touched by other peoples emotions, so I often cry during sad movies and books (Not Titanic though. The Book Thief, Of Mice and Men ending, Forest Gump, A lotta anime and manga has made me weep though).
I did have a really big cry when my guild-family of the past year was splitting up. And again the second time this spring, when I had to decide whether to stick with the guild or join the splinter guild. There was a long night of tears and a flurry of texting with my best guy friend (and main crying shoulder). And then more tears as I was writing a letter of resignation to my GL. I'm glad I'm back and that things have settled down.
Yeah, I'm overemotional and overinvolved. But you have to understand that during that time I had adopted kind of a position of being the unofficial guild guidance counselor/guild mom (despite being one of the youngest, haha), and everyone, from all sides of the fight, was dumping their problems on me, and whenever I was gone for more than a day things would fall apart a little more. And I was really busy at school and with my piano final. So I was under a lot of stress.
I can't really understand how you could end up crying in GW I mean it IS just a game. If some1 manages to piss me off that much I just /ignore or in the vent case mute them.
The only video type orientated thing I can remember crying in was the ending to Wolf's Rain, anyone who thinks that wasn't just totally depressing has issues.
This happened with the second guild I was in. It was just after Halloween 2005 and we were getting bored with GW a bit and we starting PvPing and some members started behaving the same thing again.
We had a female in the guild and she was called names. Also where we were doing those MM runs to farm Sorrow's Furnace, a couple people used to draw inappropriate images on the map and a couple ladies left the guild as well.
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa WHOA! I truly hope some of you guys don't have girlfriends, if you do, I hope you're a little more tuned in to issues than what you are showing here. Women have a different way dealing with emotions. That's probably why you don't see us going on shooting rampages at colleges and schools.
So, just to let you know, GW had NOTHING to do with the girl crying so let's not even go there.
What DID make her cry was a supposed friend yelling at her, it could have been over a soccer game, a bowling game, a ping pong game or whatever. Get my drift? She cried because a friend was insensitive and mean and turned on her publically blaming her, yelling at her, SHAMING her for something she may or may not have done. Under no circumstance is that ever approrpiate and whoever did this should be deeply ashamed of himself. He showed bad sportsmanship to the extreme. He showed lack of leadership. This is not, no matter what sport you play, a way to gain cooperation of your teammates.
I'm pretty tough, but I think I would have had the same reaction if someone I knew and trusted and thought of as a friend launched into me like that. And remember, the tears aren't boo-hoo I'm sad. It's more than that, it's all the anger, hurt and rage.
People here need to stop being so quick to be nasty. That's probably why most of PvP is such an epic failure. Instead of trying to figure out what went wrong, people want to point fingers and blame other people.

No.
Rage gets things done. Anger makes you do it right.

I'm sorry, what's the issue here? Haven't heard this about someone crying, and being flamed for it. Or did I miss something in this thread?
Anyways: Girls do have different ways of dealing with emotions. Sometimes lol. I've known more guys that cried out over something than girls tbh. And it's not like they were sissies. Normally they would be categorized as tough guys :P
I've never cried over a friend who has betrayed me. When I get betrayed I become stunned more than that. That's even worse because I mostly have no idea what to do or how to react. It's like thinking: "Should I cry? Should I yell back? What should I do?" And that feeling is, to me, horrifying.
Anyways back to that girl: I don't know the case, but she could have been crying over GW. If the situation was stressed she could have had a small breakdown causing her to tense up and cry. It's not weak really, just a pretty common reaction to stressed situations.
EDIT: Just reread the first page. Why this sounds like you are probably right, that she left because of that abuse from her former friend.

Guild road rage. Saw it happen once. When the GM did not step in, I left the guild too. Guilds need a strong GM with consistent principles and those are hard to find.
I think I probably cried once or twice, but since I can't remember the circumstances it probably wasn't that big a deal to begin with.
I cry laughing at stuff ingame fairly often though
never cried but smashed 2 towers a pc desk 2 bedroom doors punch holes in walls and smashed a few other random object thru temper tantrums...but only cried when i get the bills to repair/replace them lol
The internet is completely devoid of humanity and mercy, proved by suicide from internet bullying and the culprits just not caring. It has no rules, it doesn't play by them so you can't either. Any humanity you hold with you while conversing on the internet, you better drop it like it's hot.

Not very idealistic... so are you saying that if everyone else is inhuman, you must drop your humanity? Well if you do that, then will it ever stop? What you just said would mean that progress in the world is non existant. If one person follows that principle of yours, well, there would be no end to it.
Hell if people did what you say they should do, slavery and racism would still be ok, instead of frowned upon and illegal, and the progress of the world would come to an end.
Stop that attitude please! You are simply giving up! I know this might sound like idealistic bs, but hell so did the teachings of Martin Luther King, and now a black (well at least black enough to be called black) guy is the president of the most powerful country in the world. Never say die!
